We're hiring multiple Litigation Legal Secretaries in Irvine for full-time roles available as temporary or temp-to-hire opportunities. An AmLaw 100 firm is seeking support for a high-volume litigation team in its Orange County office, with work centered on consistent administrative execution, precise litigation document support, and coordination across active matters. Candidates who enjoy broad litigation support and managing detailed case documents will be well-aligned.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and revise correspondence, pleadings, discovery, arbitration/mediation papers, and agency/state/federal filings; assemble and proof exhibits and hearing/trial notebooks.
  • File via ECF and California state systems, track deadlines, and maintain attorney calendars in accordance with local, state, and federal rules.
  • Maintain electronic case files and exhibits, run conflict checks, open new matters, and assist with monthly billing and expense reports.
  • Provide overflow/floater support to multiple attorneys, coordinate travel through the firm's travel agency, monitor CLE/bar admissions, and handle other time-sensitive administrative tasks as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years litigation legal secretary experience.
  • Proven experience with ECF and California state e-filing systems.
  • Familiarity with California and federal court rules and procedures.
  • Hands-on experience with document management software (NetDocs or similar).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook in a Windows environment.
  • Experience supporting multiple attorneys at once.
  • Exposure to billing (Intapp or similar) and expense reporting systems (Concur or similar).
  • Trial preparation experience.
  • Prior experience with travel coordination and CLE/bar admission tracking.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree; equivalent experience considered.
